City of the Heaven Age Will you get to go into the Heavenly City

Here are some verses about the word: “City”. As you can tell from these verses, there are many cities in the Land of Israel. In our modern day, there are thousands of cities throughout the world. There is also a Heavenly City!!! Will you get to go into the Heavenly City???

It is important to define the word “city” before beginning to answer how many there are. A report compiled from World Atlas calculated that there were 4,416 cities in the world with a population of over 150,000. Some lists place Tokyo as the largest city in the world with a population of 37 million, but this is only when the municipality is counted as one city. The municipality also includes the city of Yokohama (population 3.6 million) and 86 other towns. The US Census Bureau estimated the 2013 population of New York as 8.4 million, the largest city in the US.

Matt.2

  1. [23] And he came and dwelt in a city called Nazareth: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophets, He shall be called a Nazarene.

  1. [5] Then the devil taketh him up into the holy city, and setteth him on a pinnacle of the temple,

  1. [14] Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.
